Sakenet Australia have built a reputation for supplying Australians with quality Japanese saké, specialising in richer, more bodied styles typically served Kan (warm); this particular style of saké will also match exceptionally well with richer, more umami foods. To highlight this they have partnered with Indie Melbourne producer Stone and Crow for a not to be missed cheese and saké tasting.
Stone and Crow cheese company’s Jack Holman, who’s cheeses and dedication to making cheese is well renowned (average day is rumoured to be from 3am to 4pm) will be selecting 5 of his favourite, limited cheeses to match with Sakenet saké guru Rey’s hand selected Junmai saké.
Not to be outdone, the venue Mr.Kitly is providing stunning Jikon saké glasses for the event, so anyone lucky enough to attend can enjoy their saké in style.
