OrganiserThe Sydney Wine Academy – TAFE NSW

Just a quick notification for any interested parties – TAFE NSW, Ultimo College with the Sydney Wine Academy are holding a sake certification course in March 2019! The course adheres to the certifications of the WSET 3 (UK-based industry body ‘Wine and Spirit Education Trust’ – WSET 3 content goes beyond that of previous levels) designed to reinforce knowledge surrounding the beverage to a rather advanced level and comprising numerous facets and is suitable for those who are required to make evaluations of sake in a professional context and to judge their brewing quality and commercial value.

The course is also open to those new to the industry and who wish to understand the beverage through-and-through – that is, to a higher level than courses such as the aptly-titled WSET 1 would otherwise provide.

Course Info

The course spans roughly three weeks; the 4-day period commencing the 25th of March 2019 as classroom-based lessons on the TAFE campus in Ultimo, and the two week-period immediately prior to that which is based on monitored online study content.
