On the evening of Friday the 7th of December this year, Sydney Saké Society are collaborating with Deja Vu Sake Co. and Sydney’s premier local liquor store The Oak Barrel to bring sake fans an exclusive tasting event featuring Japan’s oldest sake brand, Kenbishi. Co-Founder of Deja Vu Saké and very active participant in the Sydney-side sake scene Yukino Ochiai will guide tasters through the history (dating back to 1505!) and flavour profiles of Kenbishi and provide matching foods, courtesy of Jazushi fusion-restaurant in Surry Hills, for the brands sake. The Oak Barrel have kindly agreed to provide their store as the venue for the days proceedings.
