International sake competition “2023 Australian Sake Awards”

Australian Sake Awards Inc. are pleased to announce that 2023 Australian Sake Awards will be held in Sydney, Australia, in July 2023 for the second time. The competition aims to promote the diverse appeal of sake in Australia, develop sake experts and contribute to the long-term development of the sake market.

The judging panel is made up of Australian sommeliers, sake retailers, food and beverage professionals, sake qualification holders and sake importers and wholesalers’. The judging is conducted in a blind tasting format to ensure a fair evaluation and to select the sake preferred by the Australian market.

The popularity of sake in Australia has shown a steady increase, and there is immense potential for expanding your market. The winning sake will be also announced at the awards ceremony in Sydney, which is expected to effectively increase awareness in the Australian market.

Conditions of entry:
Sake that is legally manufactured and sold under a licence, whether domestic or foreign.
Sake must be sold in Australia or be scheduled to be sold in the current year.
