Sakeshop, which you might remember from the recent Sydney Sake Matsuri, are holding a free tasting session for Namazake next Saturday the 3rd of November at their Sydney store: details below. Namazake (nama meaning fresh in Japanese) is a type of unpasteurised sake which is scarcely available in Australia due to logistics issues in transporting the drink without letting the bottles warm up – degrading its unique, fresh-from-the-source flavour. As such, don’t let this rare opportunity go to waste in trying this curious variety of sake!
