The Sydney Festival of Sake is back this year in its 2nd annual showing, with hosts The Oak Barrel deciding to bring the event back after last years sold out successes. They’re teaming up with many of Australia’s sake industry importers and specialists to present a wide variety of sake, as well as Japanese umeshu (plum wine), shochu (distilled barley and sweet potato alcohol), liqueurs and more!
Specially matched Japanese cuisine will also be available on site to match with your drinks. In total, there will be over 70 different products on offer – one of the largest-scale sake related events in the country!
The event will be held on the Oak Barrel premises on Elizabeth St near Museum Station in the CBD, and is scheduled to run from 1PM to 4PM on the date. Tickets are going for $40 for members and $50 for guests.
