Sake is a very unique but under-represented drink in Australia, and the folks at The Oak Barrel are keen to change that reality. They will be running an evening sake appreciation and tasting night built as an introduction to sake – ranging from how it is made and its various quality grades, to how it is drunk and the complex world of sake styles.
They will also explain the fundamentals of the drink so that you will later be able to comfortably order a bottle for home or when you’re out at dinner. Join the Oak Barrel’s sake experts for their January 30th, 2020 sake appreciation night – one and a half hour long sit-down tasting going through a variety of different sake styles and all included in the ticket price.
