Sake-traders Sakenet are teaming with Sydney restaurant Sasaki to host a special ‘Sake and Sweets’, joint-tasting event to cap off this Valentines season this Sunday the 24th of February. Eight different sake’s will be made available for sampling along with a number of treats courtesy of the kitchen at nearby bakery-cafe Cre Asion.
The event will be held at restaurant Sasaki at their Sydney CBD location (address above), at the brunch-hours of 10AM to 12AM on the Sunday. Tickets are $10 per person.
The savoury, umami notes of sake are reputed to go well in balancing and complementing sweets in a little-known combination – why not try some yourself this Sunday?
