Neutral Bay’s Japanese mainstay Jugemu and Shimbashi are working together with Sakenet Australia to bring you a special ‘soba and sake’ event – bringing together sake and the classic Japanese noodle dish ‘soba’ – traditionally comprised of cold, buckwheat noodles served with a dipping sauce.
Sydney soba master Masahiko Tojo will be making his time-honoured soba noodles – one of Jugemu and Shimbashi’s specialties (the “Shimbashi” part signifies the one restaurant within the pair that specialises in soba – as opposed to the Jugemu side specialising in Teppanyaki, in going along with the traditional Japanese practice of having restaurants that are specialised in one or a few dishes), along with a myriad of other assorted ‘soba store’ side dishes, for consumption with three tasting sakes specially selected for the event.
Tickets are currently going for $60 per person, with seats currently on a relatively limited basis.
The event will run from approximately 6:00PM to 9:00PM on Thursday the 6th of December, 2018.
For more information or to make a booking please ring Sakenet Australia at 0417 690 050 or email them at email@example.com.
